My (clutch!) host travel agency allows people to become an independent travel agent immediatley after registering. Aka get paid for booking your own travel + access to travel agent (employee discount type) rates.

How Does it Work?

#1 Register with PlanNet using the code "HIGHC713"

You will need to enroll as a PlanNet Representative to get access to the travel agent registration.

#2 Via your PlanNet portal, register for the Host Travel Agency

Once you complete the enrollment process as a PlanNet rep, go to your "Virtual Office" and click on"PURCHASE ITA NOW"to get your Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) credentials.

#3 Sign in with your new credentials and start booking

Check your email babe because you're official! From here you can start booking travel, take (optional) travel agent courses, and book your own hotels/resorts/flights/etc using the juiciest travel agent discounts

Why does this sound too good to be true?

My thoughts exactly. The truth is, the travel agency industry is declining. Why would people pay someone to book their travel when they already do it on their own? Hence why my hosting agency (and others) have made it easier for people to be their own agent. EVERY travel booking has built in agent comission. Why not give it to yourself instead of the website you're booking on?

  • Do I have to reach a booking quota?

    Not at all! You can book as little or as much as you want. Personally I book for myself and family.

  • Life happened and I can't travel as much...can I pause?

    Of course. You can reach out to PlanNet support to pause your membership. There's also the standard 30 day grace period when you sign up (in case you get cold feet and want a refund).

  • How much money can I make?

    There's a built in agent comission for every booking you make, ranging from 5-20% of the total cost. You will get to keep 80% of that commison, the rest going to the host agency. Note: You don't make commison when you use your travel agent/employeee discount.

  • What if I have questions?
